Default coments on airborne models arf's

Hi Fastsky!

Once I flew the Rambler-45 I couldn't understand why anyone would buy a T-34. :-)

Here's my pros and cons on these two models:

World Models T-34 with OS-46fx
PROs:
Decent advanced trainer.
Impossible to bounce on landing.
Easy assembly.
Very easy to land.
CONs:
T-34 practicing, T-34 racing, and T-34 racers.

World Models Rambler-45 with Saito 72
PROs:
Really great Sunday Flyer.
Great looking.
Very docile and forgiving.
Very quick and easy assembly (I can build one in an evening).
Can be used to practice aerobatics.
Can hover with surprising ease.
CONs:
None.

The Rambler-45 is a much more attractive model... has built-in retracts which are fun... is alot more nimble in the air... and is more stable. The T-34 is a very stable plane, as well. But, the Rambler-45's light weight makes it even more stable.

The T-34 has only two purposes... it makes a decent trainer or advanced trainer... or it's a "go fast turn left" plane. The Rambler-45 wants to do some aerobatics. :-)
