I built a Tiger 2 this past winter. It was not my second (or even third) plane, but it was my first kit. I built it as a taildragger, and enlarged the control surfaces. It still flies like a low wing trainer when I want it to, but it can also push the envelope with hovering, high alpha rolls, torque rolls, etc. I agree with all that has been said here as far as flight characteristics go.
