As a reference, what's your first boat?

To run 25mph with the motor you mentioned it almost has to be a rigger or a hydroplane.

A monohull with a 500/600 motor on seven cells, runs about 20-22mph.
In order to get faster you'll need a bigger hull (mono2 700 motor, 12-14 cells), 28-30mph, or use a brushless set-up in the smaller (500/600 motor) monohull.
