There are always two sides to every story I have known of many other manufacturers engines blowing up without going into details. I have 5 engines 2 of which are simjets (3000 and 2300) both have performed perfectly for years - although I am sure there are "duff" ones out there I'm sure they are very much in the minority.

Although this isn't the correct place for a slag off of simjet I'm very much in the valid position simjet are a good company with good products - I know a supplier to simjet and they tell me that simjet are doing very well.
