Hey Jim, I like a rearward C.G. too...
Are you balancing yours aft of the recommended point on the plans? I haven't had a whole lot of time to work on mine lately, and was just at the point of gluing the firewall on when I read your last post.
I'm gonna use an Esskay 400XT that weighs 1.5 oz. or an even 2 oz. w/ the supplied G.P. prop and hard (maxx) adapter.
I'm thinking of trimming the front of the fuse about 3/4"... what do you think?
