I have one more comment & then I will say no more on this subject.
It is not uncommon for a model to dissappear over the hills & far away when a pilot loses sight of it in the air. One loose model flew from Eastern Ontario about 30 miles into New York State. Instructors are routinely "rescuing" student planes from this fate. Out in the country & far away doesn't mean diddly.
