Default RE: Houston Flying?

Tony,
I can see your concern about foamy fliers being every where, I don't think there will be much harm in that, unless they are flying very close to your field. Even in the event of that, my new receiver the Seeker 6 should take care of any problems with channel interference. According to them, I can turn off my TX and another TX on the same channel still will not affect my RX. I put the Seeker 6 in my newly converted 40 size electric and have not seen any issues with the RX.
By the way, a 40 size electric can be very affordable now, the set up was very close to what a glow would cost, that is with cheap RC car battery packs. Hobby Lobby ran the AXI 2826 on sale for $69, two 6 cell RC Car packs, and I'm using the Cool Running ESC for $45. Flight times are not very long, but I can change my packs out faster than the time it takes to refuel, and I bought 4 packs for less than $10 a piece.

Are you saying anyone can organize an event at Scobie? But don't think that I could do an electric only event there, not sure if the glow guys would be happy about that.
