Well it is time to boast and brag. My Don Smith scratch built 1/12 th scale B29 has finally flown. After 2+ yrs of building and engineering by the likes of Dan Walz, Dave Wise , Jim Simonitch just to name a few. It has gone from being a dream, a money sucker, a coffee table and a dog house to being a fine example of a true flying machine. I did nt take the honors of the first flight of course. That was left up to Fred Wilke. Pictures and possibly video to follow soon.
