RE: FX-35 ESC

My ESC did not have a switch, but instructions said to put in a toggle switch and fuse in the red wire. I put in a slide switch, but it didn't seem to connect well lately. I took it out, but haven't tried it yet. I am not sure what type or size of fuse to use. Any ideas? Hiflyer2.
