I'm working on the SIG Senior kit. It's not the EP42 ARF you asked about, but I can tell you it's a great kit for a beginner.

This will be my second plane- Ventura was 1st. If you change your mind about the arf and want to build a kit, I think you'd find this a great kit. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and there's a bunch of guys who have a lot of experience with the thing. I decided to build it after watching a bunch of the "old-timers" in my local club flying them one SUnday morning.
