I balance mine right side up in a nose to tail cradle and drop a pendulum. I also put the battery on top of the bottom wing. The batteries travel from airplane to airplane to prevent so darn many flight packs to cycle and go bad.

With my other Ultimate the flight characteristics improved substantially and unexpectedly when the battery pack was lowered. Only flown this one with a wing-mounted pack.
