Well dave...She idles again...WONDERFULLY!

I adjusted the valves per our conversation, and re-tuned the low speed mixture, high speed mixture, and regulator....

Idles Wonderfully..I don't think any other engine can tick..tick...tick over like a properly adjusted YS !!!!

One last question tho...and this one should be easy....but I can be kinda thick!~

at WOT...when you go from idle to WOT the transition is smooth and POWERFULL!

as the engine spends more time at WOT...the RPM seem to drop and the tone changes.

Is this running too lean or rich at the top end??

My thinking is that it is too rich at WOT...but that may be because I'm afraid to lean her out too far.

prop is a graupner 14x7 3-blade.

Rpm at WOT on the ground is @8800 then she drops to 8500 or there abouts after a few seconds.

I have a M/A 14X7 3-blade...and that should spin @ 9000-+ last time I tested. But have been running the graupner exclusively.
