I haven't begun the Caribbean Cruiser project yet; I'm finalizing the "stage one " mods to the Twinstorm [ go to rcflix.com, register, logon, & check out the "storm pix]. To get more working space to install the motors in the CC, remove the battery tray first [you probably figured this out already]. Use blue loctite on the gearshafts & screws; you might also want to replace the skimpy cooling coils with a set with more winds, I also think the stock 42 x 1.6 prop causes the motors to work too hard, I'd replace it with a Graupner CF 42 x 1.4. The mechanical speed control should be replaced with something like a Jeti 600, I have one in the 'Storm & it works great. Go to Offshore Electrics for the parts; they're good people.
Before I go to a 700 motor with direct drive I'm considering modding the CC with the currently installed Titans, better cooling coils, Jeti 600, CF 42 x 1.4 prop and 2x 7-cells. I run the 'Storm with the Titans on 2x7 cells, separate cooling coils and fans for each motor and it rips !
Stay in touch.

" Tune for Maximum Smoke "
already registered @ rcflix and checked out twin storm.....
box out, my trouble is getting past shaft housing and lining every thing up, not sure i like the way motors mount ? next problem is how can i tell what motors i have, sights have pictures of aqua torque motors, mine look plain with numbers RS-540SH TB021Z26 on sticker, as far as cooling, not much room for bigger coils with shaft housing so close to motors, are the silicone jackets ok from offshore, last time i looked out of stock, going to order props for CC and TS and 2 batteries, you say seven cells, which ones are best for $$.
you know, worst thing about CC, i cant find any exploded view doc or stuff like i can find on all the others.
you have already been more help since i have owned it than all other info.
till then,
