I got a bit of flying in this afternoon, and I put the 15x8 Menz-S on for the last flight.

I didn't get a tach reading on it, full throttle on the ground sounded comparable to the 16x4W APC, but until I put a tach to it I can't be sure.

In the air, the plane was somewhat faster than with the 16x4W, but not excessively fast. The sound was definitely more pleasant.

Hovering on the 15x8 was at a slightly lower throttle setting than with the 16x4W (surprised me), but full power vertical climbs from the hover were a bit different... with the 16x4W, it would start climbing almost instantly upon application of full throttle, with the 15x8 it felt a bit lazy, but then accelerated to a higher speed going up.

Can't wait to try a 16x6 on it.
