Default Question for Hroachen

Put three flights on the APC 16x6 today. She was turning 8700 static. Great acceleration, good vertical. From level flight to firewalled throttle and ninety degree pull-up, she runs out of grunt in 500 feet or so. Certainly not "unlimited", but not shabby. Zoom climbs are almost out-of-sight before she falls off.

Take-offs are like, right NOW, with surprisingly little P-factor. I had to hold very little rudder.

As feared, I lost that wonderful airbrake effect, but she does slow down quickly enough for short approaches, etc. She doesn't bleed off speed on the down-line as quickly as before, so I'll just have to live with that.

But no signs (or sounds) of overspeeding. The YS was happy, so I'm happy.

How did that wood prop work out?
