Aw heck, that won't be JATO, that'll be ICBM![X(] I have a Saito .30 on a 50" (yep, 50") Tiger Moth, and it pulls it around fine--the plane absolutely dwarfs the engine and even the muffler mostly fits inside the cowl.
If you get a Saito .30, you won't regret it. Just don't run it on fuel less than 15% nitro, or it'll disappoint you. Oh, and the Magnums are probably the best bang-for-the-buck engine in .25 two-stroke from what I've seen.
