The comments about a weak landing gear mount were right on the money. I took my mount out last Sunday. I considered strengthening the mount prior to flying but didn't want to perform any surgery because I didn't know what was inside... Now I know. Remember, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

BTW I equipped this Leo with Bolly F3A standard carbon fiber gear when the importer couldn't provide a replacement defective left strut.
