Ross, you are correct regarding the wing, the white wing skin is not removable, it is bonded to the core. However the red trim and black lettering on the wing are removable. I think you may be able to apply monokote or the adhesive backed coverings over the white wing skin as long as you are careful not to trap any bubbles since the skin is non porous.
