i took out my trainer this morning checked her over took off flew a cpl of circuits then decided to do a few loops ,no problem at all then after another loop the engine cut!!,i was flying over some trees so decided to turn her towards me and try and get her lined up for a landing no probs but i figured i couldnt get her turned again(lack of height and speed etc),so i decided to land her across the wind as she was facing that way and loosing height.looked great came down smooth,then a bit of wind cauhgt the wing and she dropped one wing just as she was coming for touch down.no prizes for guessing what happened she clipped the grass with her wing tip and did a cart wheel oops fuse snapped near tail apart from that she was un damaged.im getting good at repairs lol.ive epoxied the tail back on and shell be back in the air in no time!!!.i thought i handled the dead stick well till that wind lol.
