RE: 1st dead stick oops!!
Check the operation of the pickup line. Make sure it has not flipped forward or gotten stuck to the bottom of the tank. Needs to swing freely at the rear of the tank and remain at the "low" side in whatever attitude the plane is in. Note: if pulling enough G's during a loop, both the fuel and the clunk will stay at the bottom of the tank and not move like it will during sustained inverted flight.
