They both look like the Hobby Zone Aerobird series. They can be a fast easy way to take to the skies and are fairly resillient. But some things to consider.
Do you want to fly traditional RC planes later? If so the v-tail flys vastly different.
How often is the wind above 5mph (8kph) where you live? I had a Scout and flew with a couple of people with Aerobirds. If the wind was above that you either didn't fly or had better be prepared for a long walk to retrieve your plane. I live in Texas so I spent a lot of time not flying.[:@]
