Default Need advice/info on these two planes..thanx

Hi im new here and im looking to getting into RC planes.. i've been keeping an eye on these two planes but i cant seem to find any more info or even videos.. i only found one video of the "Blue Bird" and it seem to fly good.

here are the planes im talking about:

[link=http://www.trademe.co.nz/Toys-models/Radio-control/Aircraft/auction-35688280.htm]Wing Spirit[/link]
5ft wing span
30min flying time
540 motor

[link=http://www.hobby-estore.com/yhst-38176160243944/electric-rc-plane-super-bluebird.html]Blue Bird[/link]
155cm wing span
380 motor

I havent been able to pinpoint any website that gives me alot of details but both of these plans are indeed Two channel which is what im looking for to start off with. the prices look good and they even sell for better on eBay. has anyone flown any of these two.. any information will be most helpful. THANK YOU!
Ed

hi ive had a twin proped plane b4 similar 2 that blue bird(2 channel) and it crashed in to a tree and the wings ripped then it never flew again properly then i left it in the garden to dry from the damp on it and my dog eat it,lol

points

1.DONT LEVE UR PLANE IN THE GARDEN NEAR YOUR DOG IF U HAVE 1[:@] DOG,LOL

2.DONT SNAP THE WINGS

actually that blue bird not a twin motor.. im not 100% sure if its a 2ch or 3ch.. some sites have listed it as 2ch and some sellers on eBay list it as 3ch.. lol. i wouldnt mind going with a 2ch plane for now just to see how they're like. if i really do enjoy this though i would go into 3ch for sure just cause it offers alot more control over the plane..

They both look like the Hobby Zone Aerobird series. They can be a fast easy way to take to the skies and are fairly resillient. But some things to consider.

Do you want to fly traditional RC planes later? If so the v-tail flys vastly different.
How often is the wind above 5mph (8kph) where you live? I had a Scout and flew with a couple of people with Aerobirds. If the wind was above that you either didn't fly or had better be prepared for a long walk to retrieve your plane. I live in Texas so I spent a lot of time not flying.[:@]

Good luck no matter your choice!

thx jacol.. we usually have high and low wind days, mostly in the morning theres very little wind then the afternoon wind picks up, then towers sunset wind dies again, this is about 90% of the time dead on... i already knew NOT to fly in anything higher then like 4mph i told myself that hehehe.
