Default RE: Futaba HF-Module Question

We are the Futaba service center in North America. We're sorry, but we're not familiar with the TQ module. It's not available in the Western Hemisphere. The only module we have available to work in the 9Z transmitter is the TK module, which is available on 50 and 72 MHz.

If the TQ module is used in the FC-28, then it's essentially similar to the TP module, which is used in the 7U, 8U, and 9C series transmitters. We'd conclude then, that you cannot use the TQ module in the 9Z transmitter. We don't know if the 40 MHz TK module could be tuned to 35 MHz by the service center. It also may be a problem with the transmitter's certification in your country. That module may not be certified on 35 MHz. That's something you'll have to take up with your regional Futaba service center.
