Try using this part for a replacement clutch nut,

I am using this on my OS engine. I had to shave a little bit off of the hex end to get the correct length. It may not need to be shortened with the HPI shoes.

I am also using these steel clutch bells,

You supposedly have to use their bearing which I have used with no problems,

But I have found out that you can stack a couple of clutch bell bearings together to replace the needle bearings.

The hardest part of this swap is to get the end of the shaft shortened squarely so the shaft doesn't wobble.
