Hi aidaniel,
When you repaired the coil mount, you may have changed the gap with the flywheel or timing. Loosen the coil and slip a playing card between the coil and the flywheel magnets, then tighten the coil screws and remove the card. the gap should be between 0.25 to 0.6mm. Eight to 15 thousands of an inch. Do you guys use inches down under? If the coil is in about its original location and doesn't drag on the flywheel you should be ok.
