engine - equal setup with DA on same scales same day with 10 seconds of each other--- that is - engine less ignition
they were to the same ounce on 5 lb scales -postal type which calibrated with my digitals - accurate to under one ounce -once scales were set for zero.I was doing a customer's plane and had access to both engines -so I weighed em -just to see --

I can do the ZDZ50 with or without standoffs depending on firewall I setup --If I use standoffs ,I use maple end grain blocks -thru drilled and secured with long 10x32 machine screws.
I like this setup as it can be done to provide a boxed mount , using two strips across standoffs.
These is not a more solid stand off but it does require a teensy bit of work.
very light setup -not as pretty as machined metal tho
I don't see weight being a real factor in any 50 gasser comparison- pick yer favorite brand 'n go ..
the prop used and spinner used can wildly affect which engine ends up heaviest .
