I recently purchased a flight pack with the shift selectable Supreme RX for use with my Airtronics Stylus. After setting it up for the Airtronics positive shift, I found that I needed the battery/channel 7 slot for the second aileron servo. Now I have two questions:

Can I use the channel 7 slot for just the second aileron servo and plug my battery into any unused channel to power the system (5 standard Hitec servos), or must I use a "Y" harness for channel 7 for battery and servo connection.

What happens if I use an unused channel for battery power? I am chasing a glitching problem with the selectable Supreme and I am trying to eliminate possible causes one at a time. The radio is in a Great Planes Tiger Moth with an Enya four stroke so I don't have to worry about ignition issues
