Hi.
I'm interested in the [link=http://www.eagletreesystems.com/Plane/plane.html]Seagull Wireless Flight System[/link] from Eagle Tree Systems and wonder if someone has tested it on jets?
I noticed on their web page that the transmitter is sold in two versions. One is on 900 mHz and 200 mw output for the US, and one is on 433 mHz and only has a output off 20 mw for the European market probably because of some laws. They state a range of 1 mile or greater with the 900 mHz 200mw transmitter, but doesn't say anything about range with the 433 mHz 20mw European transmitter.
I wonder if 20 mw will provide a range good enough for jets?
I would be tempted to buy the 900 mHz version anyway, but European mobile phones are on the 900 mHz band so there may be a collision there...
Anybody have some thoughs??
