Thank you for your reply,
I'm actually looking for a TK module in the 40MHz range, and in Europe it does not seem to exist. Only the 35MHz version. In Europe, for R/C Flying, the 35MHz and the 40MHz band are mostly in use, and legally certified. It differs a little by country, but 50 and 72MHz is not legal in countries of the European Union.
We don't know if the 40 MHz TK module could be tuned to 35 MHz by the service center. It also may be a problem with the transmitter's certification in your country.
This reply is a little confusing to me; Did you mean 50 i.s.o 40MHz? Anyway, in this catalogue I have, the TP module is indeed available in the 35MHz and 40MHz ranges, but is listed here for the FF-3, FF-7 and FF-8. I would think it is not possible to re-tune the 40MHz module to 35MHz, the freq. spread would be to great. I've got a little scanned image here of the catalogue :
The FF-8 in Europe is the Futaba 8U in the U.S., but if you say that the TP module can be used in the 9Z I would be very happy, although from this catalogue I don't get the impression that it's recommended.
Futaba 8U :
Futaba FF-8 :
So my final questions would then be :[*]Can I use the TP Module in the 9Z?[*]What is then the technical difference between the TP and the TK?[*]Is there in the U.S. an TK module in the 40MHz range?
Regards, hoping you can help me with this, and happy landings.
Richard
