I'm not sure about the run times since I'm still using the batteries that the LHS put in the Iwaver Tank. I only run it for around 5-10 minutes at a time depending on active the hairy kids are at night since I simply let them chase it back and forth. As far as durability is concerned, it doesn't have a lexan body and has a lot of detail so it's not a typical basher if that is what you are getting at. Of course, I wouldn't be smacking the barrel into objects.
