There was one of these at the field yesterday & we put it on the scale. It was 7pounds 4oz with a .61FX in it. I think the wing area on this bird is only about 5XX? Also, the control surfaces were not suitable for stalled flight (3D maneuvers)--to small.

Even if your plane is a pound less and it is powered adequately you are not going to have a very 3D capable plane.

The plane, however is a good flier and will be a lot of fun for sporting around or practicing IMAC sequences.

If you want something to build that will fly 3D with a .40 put together a 3D capable SPAD. You will be happy you did when you dork it in while learning.
