OK... I'll try the supplied hinges just for the throws. I like a lot of elevator authority and my Tensor (R.I.P. - wasn't a fan) didn't have enough... maybe it's a Bipe thing.

Is there a better way to mount an AXI to the plane? I REALLY REALLY REALLY don't like the stock mount for brushless motors. This is what I normally use:
