I have the EP 42.
The first motor that came with the kit was no good, which they replaced right away.
When I test flew it with the replacement motor it ran very hot, like smoked!!
I removed the cowl and it flew like a Kadet. Very nice.
I have opened a hole under the prop about 2" by 2", also opened the holes on each side of the prop. I also opended four holes in the fuselage behind the battery hatch. I copied the holes in the hatch cover.
Static run on the bench for five minutes and you can touch the motor, couldn't do that before.
I think I have a Keeper.
