Waldo - That's awesome that you did the hand launch..HaHa. I'm sure that I will be trying the same thing as the temptation is pulling me in. That's cool that you got your CG where you wanted it with the hatch. With the Saito on there, I can pretty much reach 5" CG with the change of the prop nuts and movement of the battery behind the throttle servo. I'm supposed to be leaving in a little while to head out to the field for maiden flight. But the darned wind reports show 18mph. I may still go as I don't mind the wind too much but that's a bit iffy for a first flight. I'm bringing the trainer along just in case. I'm going to use the low rate throws for today. I don't think the servo arms I have will product the max throws. I'm not sure of that because I didn't try to achieve those maximum throws when I setup the control rods.

I also setup flaperons on the VR dial on my radio just in case they are needed.
