I have been flying my VF 66 Extra for over a year and enjoyed it very much. I also have their 540 Edge but the Extra keeps calling me. I used most supplied hardware but made some changes. Sullivan tail wheel, 4-40 rods and ends, TNT HD landing gear was the best investment of all. If you havent flown your VF yet get another gear set before you start nicking props... Other than that its all stock. Today I had a flame out on take off with the OS .91 and it took a hard landing. When the gear came out it took out the tail too. I am just going to order another kit now as is just more cost effective that way. I guess the trick is if you can keep this bird from any kind of crashing this is a great ARF for the money, but it doesent take much of a hit to do it in. I still give the VF 66 Extra a 9 out of a possible 10 and VF customer service is just a 10 no doubt about it.
