Default RE: New Kyosho Oxalys 50 ?

Hi Nickolas
Well finally I flew my Oxalys yesterday.....IT WAS EXCELLENT!!!!! perhaps its one of the best planes I have ever flow. The way that I have setup, CG came out to be perfect, no trims required for straight and level flight. Inverted flight required just a touch of down elevator, I will add some weight to the tail so that I dont have to hold down elevator.....
I am using 13X6 APC with wild cat 30% nitro heli fuel with 23% oil content.... higher oil content is is extremely important.
Although I am running the engine richer as said in the manual.... I still got very decent vertical.... Oh by the way no rudder required for vertical!!!!!
YS maual calls for 20 flight with rich settings, therefore I cant push the engine to its optimum to check the vertical, but I am sure it has plenty of power.
I am flying off the grass field and prop clearance is plenty, I was little concerned about wheel pants and relatively small foam wheels too, but they worked just fine.
Next week I will explore rolls, loops and knife edge...... will update then.
Thanks
Asif
