So the Ae .21 is a fast as the OS .21 RG? Is that what yer saying Engrose? I will check my Ae .21 and see about the backplate or dremeling the pin.
Hey what about a wasp .26 motor, hear its 7 port and rips in a buggy, any thoughts?
Nice track you got there.
On a tight track the OS RG are fastest, but on a large one like yours, the AE is faster. It is rather logical since it normally is hauling the mgt along at a pretty decent speed and the buggy has something like 30% less weight.
You can see on the pictures how the engine should look with the backplate.
I think that the backplate is this, but you might have to call and make sure. A friend ordered mine from Germany, so I'm not completely sure about the parts number:

If you already has this engine, it will not cost you much to try it out and see for yourself. I think that you'll be amazed. And try the OS glow plugs in the ae engine.
