Default Pw With Bme 50

Yep....that BME has POWER!!! I have a Midwest Extra w/BME50, at 15lbs the thing will go vert however you want to go.

I like to slow it down to just a crawl about 5feet off the deck, and slowly point the nose up vertical, and it doesn't even feel it, and will climb out very slowly, until I want otherwise, and as I reach full vertical, I add power, and it accelerates out...---STRAIGHT UP!!! Hover....no prob. I'm practicing that all the time. Torque rolls...well..I've got 3 consecutive so far...not too bad. That one's tough though.

The more you run it, the looser it gets. I've got 5gallons through mine now, and am getting glimpses of a major beast. I'm now noticing it's taking less and less throttle to go vert. Less then half throttle will take her up accelerating.

It's quite amazing,,,and dazzles onlookers... try it sometime. There's alot of thrust there, enough to tear a well built plane apart if you don't manage that throttle. Be careful, but have fun. It only gets better.
