Default RE: Looking for a good warbird kit.

Though it is listed as a 40 size kit, it has a 55" wing span (almost the same as most 60 size warbirds). I have an SK50 in mine but would probably go with a 60 if I re-engined. This is a GREAT kit. High quality wood, excellent laser cut, very scale (except rear fuselage bottom, but more scale than GP). Very unique and a great flyer.

Be the only one at your club to own one! Probably the best WWII fighter under 20,000' in the war. At 426MPH and a great turning radius. German pilots where told to avoid engagement of the "Sharp Noses" below 20,000' at all costs. This directive even applied to FW-190s.

So build a rarely modelled piece of history and build a Yak.

Here is my building thread so you can judge for yourself. Besides you would be supporting a up and coming kit builder. The have a 60 size LaGG-3 on the way.
