Default RE: Powerline Edge is on the Way

ORIGINAL: DPRC

I am seriously considering this plane. Is there anyone else who sells this plane other than Jag. All they have is a yellow one. I really like the green since they said I can't have it. Also, I just stuck a different yellow one in the ground. Bad memories.

What are the pluses and negatives of this plane. I am thinking about a Magnum .91 on it.

Thanks,

dp
I got the yellow one. IT'S FRIGGIN' COOL LOOKING. I haven't started construction(assembly) yet. I really like the yellow. My eyes see yellow really well, so it was a no brainer for me. But, don't be scared of the yellow. It looks GOOD.

I'm putting a TH .75 in mine. Should be plenty of power.

I just can't believe the quality of this plane. It's all laser cut. Plug in wings--just like them bigguns. HUGE control surfaces. I swear, the rudder is bigger than some 25% planes I've seen. The vertical stab is little bitty. Ailerons have got to be almost 20% or 25% of the wing cord. Elevators are humongous!!!The elevators are bigger than the horizontal stab.[&:]

Nice cowling and pants. The hatch cover is SWEET. The whole hatch and canopy comes off as 1 unit. Just like on the WH Edge or the WM Patty. Once you take the hatch cover off---it's wide open inside.

I'm trying to finish my WM Ultimate 40. It's almost done. Just gotta cut a hole in the cowl for my HS needle, and check the final balance.

Then I can start on the Edge. If I don't finish the Ultimate first--it'll never get done.

I can't wait to fly this Edge. I can tell from looking at it that it's gonna be FUN FUN FUN.

I kinda slapped all the airframe parts together and weighed it. It doesn't weigh more than 2.5 or 3 pounds. Add 2.5 pounds for engine, hardware and radio gear. I'm looking at under 6 pounds easy.
