Default RE: Looking for a good warbird kit.

Lets start the rumor that "bird flu" has infected Mustangs and Corsairs !!

I'm like you. I don't care to be a clone. I built a Pica T28. Its not true scale, its "fun scale" or "stand-off" scale or "semi-scale". But it looks great and at 7 1/2 pounds it flys great.

One problem. Pica closed thier doors this year. The rumor is that they are moving to South America. Well, it has been nearly a year, plenty of time has passed for them to have moved. And yet, no return of Pica.

The kits do appear on Ebay frequently. You can generally find a T-28 there just about every month.

Lets hope Pica returns. They had a great looking Focke Wolf and some very nice kits.

Good luck.
