I've flipped mine over many times, cart wheeled x 5, and never damaged any items under the body! I think the roll cage is a "want thing" more than a need thing.

I've have a tmax for two years now, and the guys I run with can kill anything, but Ive never seen anything under the body tore up, that a roll cage would have prevented.

But whatever floats your boat I guess.
