the stock tube seemed a little thin and mine fell off a few times.. I switched to an aftermarket tube.. I think it was gs brand and have had no problems any more... if you want to keep you original one.. try shoo goo at the base. I leave the extra wire sticking out the tube and put a ca[ on the top... thats it.
