Default RE: VectorFlight's Next Plane Poll

ORIGINAL: LarryQ

Oh....and I was just wondering...

I laid my H9 Miss America to rest yesterday.....so I'm down to one plane in the hangar that's flyable...

what is the usual delivery time for an Edge 540 66" now-a-days....

I'm not in a hurry...If waiting means I get all the latest and greatest enhancements....I'll wait!

If you order, you will want to do it well before the Christmas rush. Last year I remember they got backed up pretty good right around Thanksgiving through Christmas. If you order soon, you might have it in 4-6 weeks IMO, but the closer it gets to Christmas you might run into the chance that they get backed up building Planes. IMO they really are worth the little wait to recieve a Plane that doesn't look like it was just throwed together. I build strictly kits now, and VectorFlight is the only ARF Co. that I will order from now because they build there Planes like I would build it myself with attention given to detail in the building process. I have had the VF Edge 540 (Rest In Peace), and I will also own the own the 66" Extra 300 one day soon when I get some of my present build projects finished up. The Edge was one of the best looking and best flying Planes I had in my Hangar of about 13 or 14 Planes. I really hated to see it go, but all Planes expire sooner or later no matter how great they are.
