Well, the stabs are dead on 5 1/2. The wing indeed has the same chord as implied in your response. However the LE ends up a full 1 1/2 inches behind the measured point at 14 1/2 from the nose ring. The wing tube is right on the fuselage marking but I guess the wing tube is located further forward than the designed point. I am starting to think I got the wrong wing...
