Default RE: DO not get Tuscon Aero Shootout

The Mojo as a one piece plane probably wouldn't work in this case since it needs to fit in a car trunk. I'm more impressed every flight with the Diablo from Black Horse. Last Sunday in 25++ MPH winds it was headed into the wind and progressing backward at a sharp rate. Both direction rolling harriers in place or in reverse! This is a 3 lb. 10 oz dry set up with an Irvine 39 swinging an APC 12.25 x 3.75 prop. The cowl is now on and the new spinner fitted since the engine is now run in and very consistent. This little plane is good in upright harriers and rock solid inverted in harriers and elevators. Tork rolls are better after 10 or more minutes flying as the CG moves rearward. 20+ minutes flights on the included tank. This comes with mounts for electric also. I'm still working on the Taylorcraft and Extreme 3D before I begin my Mojo. For a foamy there are tons of choices. I have a Tribute ready to go if the connectors ever get here. The problem is most are in the $50.00 range and cost up to $450.00 more to get in the air with servos, receivers, speed controllers and a few battery packs with the necessary charger. The Hitec HS-56 karbonite gear servos are the perfect fit. I have flown everything from fanfold designs to the Mini Funtana (really sweet!) and it is amazing what these things will do.

Pick something and get out and fly, fly, fly and fly some more. Only then will you start to gain the experience that will lead you to your next plane. After I watched the Shootout I watched the warbird offering by Wild Berry. I enjoyed them both (which may explain the 3 dozen in the hanger.)
