papa you might want to start with electric you can fly in a park, I got a GWS stick, radio , all the electrics, and battery packs , for under $200, I already had a charger though, they fly pretty slow which is good for starting on, you can always transfer the radio and stuff to a faster plane when you are ready for it....Rog
