Default RE: new to pylon and need help

I fancy warbirds much better than the Q500 pylon racers & the like. Not good or bad just my feelings. The only thing I could find in Southern California was Giant Scale Warbirds or the little .25 AT-6's. Oh yeah there is a .40 size AT-6 out here as well which is a little bigger, BUT, it seems that most of the warbird races are more of a local club event not an AMA thing. Do you find the same thing out in Arizona or do they race different warbirds in the same race against other clubs?

I'd really like to see something of a wingspan limitation or an engine size limitation so we can see Mustangs, Corsairs, Zero's & Spitfires all racing together. To me that would be the coolest thing. Then if we could have two, three, four, or five different clubs coming together to race these warbird classes, all taking turns at the different fields, that would be something I think would draw a lot of people.

Fun!

What do ya think?

Ron.
