Jeez dose, it sounds like you got it all figgered out already!
A friend and I made our Tx. muffs out of a childs jacket...
I cut the sleeves off to about T-shirt length, and shortened the height of it.
Stapled the bottom closed, and I put my hands in thru the sleeve holes, and run the antenna out the neck hole...
I ditched the zipper and replaced it w/ velcro.
