Dose, IMO it's more than just keeping ya hands warm.
This is what works for me:
A good pair of insulated boots
A one piece thermal insulated winter work suit with
a hood.
A very good stocking hat.
Then the wool inserts for gloves from a Army/Navy
surplus store.
This set up works for me down to about 10`f.
Below 10, add thermal underware.
